J Sherwani (Pop Team) I noticed this got added to "Under Review" a bit ago, but hasn't changed since then.
Is there a plan to move this into Planned/In Progress anytime?

Stephen Passero: Hi Stephen,
This task is in progress and we hope to have it complete in the coming week.
Apologies about the status of the task not being updated -- am taking care of that right now.

Thanks for the detailed feedback! We’re now looking into a way to bring this back in the UI.

Ah, ok. I see the reasoning behind the removal, but we definitely used that feature a LOT. It drives me nuts every time I want to lock the drawing on the screen, and have to hold the mouse down.
I know I (and the other upvoters) would really like the feature back. And, even if the majority of people don’t use it, is there any harm to leaving it in?
J Sherwani (Pop Team)
We've removed this feature to simplify the interface, but we do have a bug where everyone should have a unique color but that's not always the case.
It looked to us like most of the time, folks would use the draw feature in a screen share to discuss something that's on the screen, not to draw a diagram. But if that's an incorrect assessment, please let us know how you're using the feature so we can design with your needs in mind.

J Sherwani (Pop Team): Actually... to the contrary-- when discussing complex ideas, I
usually
want the drawing to remain until explicitly cleared, so I talk about the topic for more than 15sec (and not have my finger held down on the mouse button the entire team). We're pair programming, and it's common (normal) to stop the programming and discuss the ideas for 15 minutes. Sometimes its to decide where to go, and sometimes its to ensure both parties understand where to go.BTW... this is the main reason I switched to screen/pop from Slack. Without this, Slack is "good enough", already paid for, and already integrated with my organization.
Seems like a huge miss, guys.

J Sherwani (Pop Team) Can we get eyes on this? Is this actually a valid bug?
