Screen session stealing focus

Was pairing with a coworker and while Screen was
mostly
well-behaved, there was about a minute or so where Screen kept stealing the focus from a Chrome window whenever my pair partner typed or moused.(This was especially annoying, as I was attempting to resize the other window using Moom hotkeys at the time, which wound up resizing Screen instead of Chrome.)
Screen on my machine reports its version as "v3.1.8 | v3.1.4" which I assume means something to y'all :D
