Scheduling creates an event regardless

Clicking Schedule -> Schedule New Meeting eventually lands me on a page that lets me edit an event on Google Calendar, but if I discard the changes, the event still exists.
I would expect this to only create an event if I clicked "save".

This is an unfortunate side-effect of how we’ve chosen to implement meeting scheduling (where we designed zero user interface around meeting scheduling ourselves, and leverage Google Calendar for everything).
We will revisit this and fix this issue in the future, but for now, the cost/benefit of our approach means that it mostly works for all normal use cases, except when you cancel out of a newly-created meeting (and even then, it doesn’t do much damage). And the time we saved through the above shortcut means we’ve been able to spend it on making the rest of the app experience better.
Having said that, we will fix this in the future when we add the ability to create meetings from within Screen (and not sending you to GCal instantly).
