Performance is mediocre compared to Use Together

Latency and framerate is noticeably worse than "Use Together". I wanted to use Screen for games testing, but that makes it untenable.
Is the way you are routing traffic centralised to the US? We are both in New Zealand.

If it's a 1:1 meeting, and you don't have a restrictive firewall, all data should flow directly between you. Could you try allowing firewall access to Screen on both sides? Also, if you try turning on your camera, do you see high latency and low frame rate as well? If not, you may be hitting our CPU throttling, which we're going to be improving in the next two weeks.

J Sherwani (Pop Team): I'll double-check my partner had allowed Firewall access (I had).
I should have been more specific on the performance front - it looks like I'm getting the equivalent of 20fps. Whereas in Use Together it looks more like 30fps. (The game is 60fps).
The performance would be acceptable for many use cases. However for looking at projectiles moving on the screen, it is noticeably worse than in Use Together.
But I do want to call out massive props for whoever made the install experience so smooth - probably the best-installing piece of software I have on my Windows PC.

J Sherwani (Pop Team): Will try the video comparison and let you know. If the CPU throttling is on my machine, it is possible. It just has a 4th-gen i5 (3230M), so not exactly the latest CPU

J Sherwani (Pop Team): Yes, I had allowed firewall access. (If it makes a difference, I'm on a newer CPU than Joe; it's a 7th gen i7.)

It's a shame because the download and use experience is wonderful!
