I have a laptop where Pop constantly crashes when trying to open in.
I’m using the latest Pop version 8.0.1 and the OS is macOS Sierra 10.12.6.
The error I see in Console is:
default 16:27:23.718867 +0100 kernel SandboxViolation: Pop Helper (GPU)(35836) deny(1) sysctl-read debug.intel.gstLevelGST
default 16:27:23.718892 +0100 kernel SandboxViolation: Pop Helper (GPU)(35836) deny(1) sysctl-read debug.intel.gstLoaderControl

Any idea what might be going on?
Thanks in advance

Hi, I have a similar problem in High Sierra 10.13.5. I can use pop to view somebody else's screen share, but when I try to share or start video pop crashes (or actually just displays blank white screens) and connections are lost.

Hi Hugo — could you reproduce this issue with us live? Please use https://calendly.com/j-pop/debug-session to find a time. Thanks!

Hi Hugo,
Not sure what's going on here, but my initial guess is a corrupt download that had trouble installing on your machine. Could you try deleting the application and re-downloading from https://pop.com/download and see if that helps?

Andy Locascio (Pop Team): Hi Andy, so we have removed all traces of Pop by checking all the
~/Library
folders listed here: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/8483999?answerId=33703704022#33703704022Re-downloaded and installed the latest version (8.0.1) but the problem still persists, showing the logs mentioned above.
Checking the
system.log
I see also these 2 messages appear whenever we try to open Pop:Sep 9 14:19:02 C02WC0TUHV2H com.apple.xpc.launchd[1] (com.apple.CoreLocationAgent[1827]): Endpoint has been activated through legacy launch(3) APIs. Please switch to XPC or bootstrap_check_in(): com.apple.CoreLocation.agent

It is supposed to work properly in macOS Sierra, right? i.e. is it a supported OS version?
