cannot cancel a pending a new meeting

When there's no internet connection and New Meeting is clicked, there's no way to cancel it so it just spins even after internet connection is restored. Currently, have to quit the app.

I have a simular issue when starting a new meeting on a VPN then the meeting immediatly over.
