as someone with a screen that is 49 inches wide, it doesnt make sense to share that whole screen.
Is there a way to only share application or a section of the screen?

Same here, have a wide screen and sharing it with a laptop-only audience is painful for them. Also, I want to hide some stuff from my audience.
